Whether you are an expert or simply starting to play basketball, it does not hurt to know the dimensions of the basketball court. After all, you play basketball all the time right? Today I will talk about the basketball court dimensions and perhaps you may already know about its. But I will talk about it just to refresh your memory and possibly to learn something new.
You may already know about this but, the basketball court dimensions and can vary depending on area or level of performance. To start with, in the NBA, the length of the basketball court is 94 feet long and 50 feet wide. The usual length of hype for the rim is about 10 feet high. Even in schools and recreational parks, standard height of the basketball ring is 10 feet. Of course we should also talk about the circle in the middle of the basketball court. The diameter of the indestructible in the center of the basketball court is 4 feet long in diameter.
In the outer area, each side of the basketball court has an outer circle line and this is the three-point line. Any shot that is made from out of the inner circle that goes into the basketball rim is considered a three-pointer. The standard length of the three-point circle is 22 feet.

Probably something you may not knowable already is the Federation Internationale de Basketball. This is a basketball Association oversees and spans across Europe. However, the dimensions and the basketball court for the FIBA is different then that of the US. For instance, the length of the basketball court in FIBA is roughly 92 feet long. While the width of the basketball court is 49 feet. The three point line in FIBA is different in the fact that it is 19 feet in length.
Basketball Court Dimensions -
It should be noted as stated previously before that the length of the basketball rim in high school and collegiate level is around 84 feet. These are nearly the exact basketball court dimensions.
