Speed training those breakdown muscle fibers but it also helps to recover as well which will also make you faster.
- You should also perform a little bit of daily jump rope. Jump rope is a form of plyometric exercise in case you have not known by now. Jump rope requires you to jump excessively in a short matter of seconds or a period of time and that also helps to work on your calf muscles which can also help you learn how to dunk and to increase your vertical.
- Never overwork your leg muscles if you want to learn how to dunk. You should allow your body to recover and it is the recovery stage when the muscles in the legs start to build up the strength from the previous weight training workouts.
